Sigh, I thought they did every possible test in the book on our son while

trying to diagnose RSS, but maybe not. Can they do this newborn screening

on older children?

Yes it is a blood test that you can ask your doctor to do. It costs

around $25..the website has more info. While it is still pretty rare

(1 in 15,000 I think) it is much more common than RSS. The state of

Texas has passed legislation and begin screening for this (and some

others) in 2006..some states already screen for it. You can get more
