Guest guest
ciao! on 11th april dr ippolito remove the cast after tenotomy. I'm little worried since in the first appointment with dr ippolito he told me Lorenzo was too old and he was afraid of a retraction. so he decided to do a lengthening under general anesthesia. then ponseti wrote to him that he do the tenotomies under local anesthesia with some sedation in children up to two years old and have never had excessive retraction of the proximal end of the tendon. so dr ippolito changed this decision and lorenzo had close tenotomy. now I'm worried that tendon isn't reconstructed. has it never happened to someone? thanks anna
Guest guest
My daughter Kelsey was one year old when she had the tenotomy procedure and it has been a great success. That was over a year ago and she is still doing very well. anna wrote: ciao! on 11th april dr ippolito remove the cast after tenotomy. Guest guest
My son Hayden was six months old when he had the tenotomy and it healed perfectly! It was done under local anesthesia and was very quick. Jenni Cypher wrote: My daughter Kelsey was one year old when she had the tenotomy procedure and it has been a great success.
