Guest guest
In a flyer for this month, Barbara Metcalf, Dr. Rabkin's nurse, discusses his presentation to this year's ASBS convention. It showed that " . . . our patient population (had) 22% more in excess weight loss in 6 months if they eliminated sugar (1-2x/month was all they allowed themselves). 12% more excess weight loss in 6 months if exercising at least 3x/week. " That sure got my attention. 6 months isn't that long and 22% of my excess weight is a considerable amount. Now, for the exercise . . . Guest guest
Siiiigh.. Thanks, Nick.. I had just about gotten over my depression over being a 6 month " failure. " My hero. (for those who don't know, this is not a flame, just my wry, dry sense of humor...I really do enjoy Nick's posts.. and I didn't eat sweets too often.. I ate popcorn... or potatos..or regular pasta..)
