SUCH AS DO YOU NOT DUMP WITH DS? > CAN YOU EAT MORE? CAN YOU HAVE SUGAR? ECT.......ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. > THANKS > > LISA DUCEY........WAITING FOR INS APPROVAL........ I am surprised no one has responded to this post. I would like to state that this advice is not for post-ops of less those six months. This is the time you need to maximize your protein and water intake and limit your carbs and sugar. The answer is yes you can eat more, not a whole lot more at first, but you will end up with a bigger capacity. Yes you can eat some sugar, the key here is some. I am 9 months post-op and I eat a sweet every day, no, this is not a good habit, but I am human and I did not get obese by making good choices all the time. The DS is an amazing surgery. It can take someone like me with all my poor eating habits lose weight. I do however, take my supplements everyday, I do eat all my protein, and I drink at least 2 quarts of water everyday. Guest guest
I think that sometimes people feel like they've answered a particular question a bunch of times and are just plain worn out. People should absolutely keep asking questions, but if no one answers, don't give up!! ) Ask again!! I will try to be better about answering questions to which I know the answers since I am so thankful when people answer *my* pesky questions. ~alyssa Re: Reversibility of DS I HAVE A QUESTION > I am surprised no one has responded to this post.
