Hi Joyce,

First of all, congratulation to your baby boy!

I'm very glad that you're going to Hengelo after all

(I assume that's where you're going anyway).

They might be using the Alfa-Flex brace which is also

used in Germany (see

http://www.semeda.de/Web/ponseti_en.htm). If they do

then this is just a different variation of the

DBB/FAB/PM braces, ie they are essentially all the

same, ie two boots connected by a bar in order to keep

the foot rotated outwards. I think the main

differences are more to do with blisters, slipping,

keeping the heel down, etc.
