Any ideas?

Ford,

I don't know too much about dental insurance so I can't help there.

However, I am in my 3rd year of dental school at the Univ of Detroit

Mercy. Dental schools have clinics where patients are seen by 3rd

and 4th year students. Fees are typically half of what a private

practice dentist would charge. Also, for services that would require

lab work (ex. crowns, bridges, dentures) we charge 1/3 at the 1st

appt, 1/3 before we send to the lab and the final 1/3 upon delivery.

This is a great alternative for people without dental insurance. The

only drawback is that appointments are longer and treatment is a

little longer than what one would find private practice.

There is only one dental school in VA. The info is below:

Virginia Commonwealth University

VCU-School of Dentistry

P.O. Box 980566

Richmond, VA 23298-0566
