Guest guest
, When I called medicaid about rejecting Madison's claims they said just keep sending the bills back to us and the more you fight the better the result will be. So keep pushing for that medicaid. Chrissy
Guest guest
, First Welcome. I am about 5-6 days behind on the site (maybe more). Try having the pediatrician write a note to the insurance company stating that Dr. H is an expert in this area and it is necessary. You never know it's worth the try. Just a quick background on me. My daughter was diagnosed at 3 3/4 with RSS by a genenticist. She was seen by an endo a few months after that who also said RSS. A year later she was seen by Dr. H who said not RSS - growth failure but doesn't know any reason why yet. She is currently I think 39/39.5 inches and about 35 pounds. She is 5 3/4 - will be 6 on Decembery 27. Where are you from? I live in northern New Jersey. I was on the phone with our insurance company yesterday and they don't cover any if there is a dr in your area. There is the endo we see, it doesn't matter she knows more. We have Medicaid for Maddison but I don't know about it yet. Also with the medicaid it is the renewal process and they say they are getting very tough. Does anyone know how to get her paid for seeing Dr H. Her first visit is $650. Also some tips for making the trip easier and cheaper. Hotel etc. Tolbert Maddison 4yrs 24lbs 38 inches
Guest guest
HI!!! Sorry it's taken me a while to write back...I do think it's kind of funny...I think there are two sissa's???I think I'll go by Missy Anne for lack of confussion! hahaha. Anyway, My son (RSS?, fundo, g-tube) is 27lbs. and 37 inches and 4.5 years old. We just got our apt with Dr. H for January 9th! Were so excited...yet nervous as well. Right now I'm putting together a fund raiser (Garage sale)to raise money for the trip out there....we're having it next weekend wish us luck!!!! I have to say, I have so many mixed feelings about the appt in general...I have struggled with my son's " failure to thrive " and health issues for so long, yet, because there are so many worse off than him, I feel like I constatnly ask myself if I'm being the " Parinoid Mother " ????? My family insists that I'm no t I think I'm just tired. I have had to do ALL the leg work and I'm feeling a little burnt out, and I still have a long way to go! Anyway, sorry for my " pitty party attitude " Thank you for responding! It's always nice to hear from others!!! Hope all continues to get better for you and your family!
