Guest guest Posted December 6, 2001 Report Share Posted December 6, 2001 , I suffered from the nausea for weeks. The only thing that helped me were suppositories my PCP prescribed. I could not keep other medicines in my stomach. And the only liquid I could drink was warm herbal tea...mint medley was my favorite. Everything else came back up, including Gatorade.... I'm one of them because of chronic pain but I have to admit that post op wasn't a good time for me to use it. Coughing just about did me in! As a gardener I grow my own mild stuff and get really spoiled - I hate to have to buy unknown quality. The use of medical weed is one I firmly believe in. It's too bad that political issues have clouded the medical use arena. Glad to live in the state of Oregon, where doctors and patients are allowed to make their own decisions about this!
