Guest guest
Karolina, Did your doc confirm that your daughter has plagio? Did he check if she has tort? Did he refer you to PT? You mentioned that she does prefer one side to the other. That should raise a red flag for your doc. It is very important to start stretching the tight muscle as soon as possible to prevent worsening of the asymmetry. My son had tort, but I couldn't even tell because he didn't have the head tilt. We had to wait 3 weeks to get an appointment with a PT. I am sure his neck tightness and plagio got worse during those 3 weeks. Unfortunately, I didn't know any better back then and just waited calmly. Now I would just pay out of pocket but have my son checked asap! I looked at your daughter's picture ( from what I can tell her asymmetry is mild). Tatiana ( mom to , 10 months) > > > > > > hello there, > > > > > > Hopefully you can help me. I have noticed that my four month old daughter's right cheek is bigger than the left one. It is also a bit lower than the left one. I am concerned. > > > > > > I have made an appointment to see a ped on Wednesday to find out a bit more about this but I would appreciate any information you can share. > > > > > > Thank you > > > > > > Karolina > > > > > > > > > > > __________________________________________________________________ > Looking for the perfect gift?
