But it sure is great to hear that you have a healthy son -- despite very geneticist telling people that it shouldn't be a problem, parents still worry. I do not believe that a tendency to be skinny would be a " trait " passed down to a child from an RSS parent. Gut instinct. I say this primarily because studies are showing that so many RSS children grow up to be overweight as adults! But again, there just isn't any literature. I would say that your child probably is just thin as a child, like other kids. My non-RSS son is in the 15th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height....
