Guest guest
I have used this recipe for years, and just realized that we can make it GFCF using Ener-G saltines. These are very good and pretty easy. The kids can help. Heath Bars 1 C butter or margarine 1 C brown sugar 12 oz. GFCF chocolate chips saltine crackers Line a jelly roll pan with aluminum foil (you might be able to use wax paper). I rub butter on it to keep it from sticking. Place single layer of crackers on pan, breaking some to fit at the sides. Mix butter and sugar in saucepan and let boil for 3 minutes. Pour mixture over crackers. Sprinkle chocolate chips over this, let melt a couple minutes, then carefully spread the chocolate. Cool and cut into squares. You could add chopped nuts after spreading the chocolate, if wanted. I like to freeze them and eat them straight out of the freezer. ===== __________________________________________________
