Guest guest
Thank you everybody who have helped us by sharing your experience through the survey. We got a large number of responses in September, and I'm presently working on the next update. Roughly half the mathematics and statistical work is now done. * The corellation between improvement and time on diet remains strong. The longer the patient stays on the diet, the more improvement. * There is a strong corellation between early intervention (compared with the patient's age) and quick intervention (after the first appearance of symptoms). Both these factors have a strong corellation to improvement rates. We will need more data before we can confidently separate the relative importance of the two factors. (Because the question about quick intervention was added to the survey at a late stage, we've only got 43 respondents who have sent us follow-up reports, and who have also answered the new question). * We still can't see any clear connection between improvement rates and any of the other dietary interventions that we're asking about: Yeast / Corn / Egg elimination. Guest guest
n, Do you use asd children who's parents do not use dietary intervention as a control? What's the standard? With asd children it has to be extremely difficult to get good data, because some recover " spontaneously " and some do no better even with Herculean effort.
