Guest guest
Kim, My son has the same problem. I haven't been able to figure it why either. Hopefully, we will find an answer. I tried watching diet, behavior, etc. and cant yet find any correlation. Thanks Kim C
Guest guest
Hi Kim, When I was a child and still to this day, when I get embarrassed, my ears turn red. More so when I was a child. My parents also asked doctors and they had no explaination back then either. I hope this helps. Ken M > > connor gets dark red ears alot lately. This happened in th past as > well. Guest guest
I have family members with red ears, too, so I did a websearch. I saw mentions of stress and of medication reactions: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient & ie=UTF-8 & rls=RNWE,RNWE:2004- 22,RNWE:en & q=red+ears http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/aug98/903718252.Me.r.html http://www.health.uab.edu/show.asp?durki=61680 Inga At 11:04 AM 10/13/2005 -0700, you wrote: >Kim, > >My son has the same problem. Guest guest
Kim - My non-RSS boy gets red ears too - but, we've never found any correlation attributed to it. I know he has sensitive skin like me. Good question though - will be interesting to see what others say. - H > > connor gets dark red ears alot lately. This happened in th past as > well. Guest guest
I have never had this experience with , but have been doing alot of research on allergies lately. Nearly all of the books say that one of the most common signs of child food allergies/intolerances is a reddening of the ears within a few hours of a particular food being eaten or a particular exposure to a chemical, gas smell, pollen, dust, etc. I'm guessing you knew this since you talk about diet, behavior. One of the books that I read, was on the bibliography list of the formula rotation paper from New Visions, the feeding site that MAGIC often reccommends to members. It is called: Is this your child? Discovering and treating unrecognized allergies in children and adults by Doris Rapp. I had not heard of her since I'm not American, but there are pictures in the book of exactly what the " red ears " look like in children when related to food/environmental reactions. - would it be worth comparing? Not sure if this would help since I know just how hard it is to pinpoint any offending foods anyway, but hope you find your answer soon. Debi mum to in Japan 3 years 11 months, RSS, 10.5 kilos, 88 cms, etc. help with RED EARS connor gets dark red ears alot lately. This happened in th past as well. Does anyone else have kids this happens to and/or what does this mean? I tried watching diet, behavior, etc. and cant yet find any correlation.
