Guest guest
, What is happening to all of us? We must be picking apples out of the same barrel. The tension level on this listserve is so high! I'm so sorry to hear that is sick. Is it possible that Ian is getting sick, too, and that is why he is not eating? Man, you had such a nice weekend away. Don't you hate it when reality slaps you in the face? Let's just hope that tomorrow is a better day. That's one good thing about life - you get to start over the next morning (if you get any sleep, that is). I wake up each morning, full of so much hope. And I'm still hoping. If things are this bad now, what are we going to do when we are all stuck inside because of snow and ice and temps too cold to face? Yikes! Jodi Z > Just a rotten day. Guest guest
Jodi - yes, we should all start shopping at a different store! And, yes - reality has totally slapped me in the face. As a matter of fact, I apologize for being so happy two days ago when I wrote that disgusting sweet message about my time away. Why didn't you all just slap me then? I deserved it. Well, it's 10:23 pm - took a half of a tylenol pm - hopefully, Xander will sleep through the night (yeah right) and I'll get some sleep. Doubt it. Maybe I'll take the time while everyone else is sleeping right now and read for 30 minutes. Thanks for the note. Sorry you are still hoping too. That is totally a good question about winter time - I think I'm going to hibernate with the bears. - H > > Just a rotten day. Guest guest
Sorry to hear about your crappy day. You know our club is getting rather large right now. I was saying (writing???) to Jodi that kids have the Make a Wish foundation......well what about one for us?? We could all just pack the bags, kiss the kids good bye and head to some tropical island for, oh I don't know, 10 years????? I am a bit less emotional today. We have a PA day today, so although I do have to go to work; there are no kids. This is our Thanksgiving Weekend so we have Monday off and I have already booked off Tuesday to go get my mortgage renewed, take Adam to the doctor and oh a million other errands. So at least I have a nice break coming up (or we hope it will be nice!) How are you today? Deb Rotten Day > Just a rotten day. Guest guest
Deb - you weren't emotional yesterday - you were highly aggrevated and that is totally fine to be that way. Anyway, I hope your day is better today and you have a nice upcoming holiday. Thanks for the post. - H > > > Sorry to hear about your crappy day. Guest guest
- that's great to know - I didn't realize about the snow. Southern Gal - that has a nice ring to it. But, there are bears in Shenendoah Valley - which is only 1.5 hours from me! - H > > > > Just a rotten day. Guest guest
Oh you are going to love the weather AND GET THIS! They cancel school DAYS in advance if they think there is going to be snow. NO KIDDING. BUt along that line, watch out for ice/snow and really really bad southern drivers who can't handle it. One time when I was in school there was a storm and the roads iced and the news was reporiting 60 ACCIDENTS along a 1 mile stretch within 5 minutes.... > > > > > Just a rotten day.
