Guest guest
Hi, again! Thank God I have hubby's laptop at the Guest Residence. I'm getting quite bored! Regarding this: > I didn't have problems wiping pre-surgically but was pretty sore > the first week or so (even though I had lap) and the spoon/wipes > helped (wish I would have thought of the squirt bottle beforehand! So, ummm, how much longer should I expect/want/need hubby to wipe my ass? He SAYS he doesn't mind, but the BMs have just started getting a unique fragrance as of today, kind of sewerish/septic-systemish (I'm sorry--I couldn't resist!). Good thing he's been here with me the whole time because I didn't bring a spoon or any other object to help me reach. Thanks, (who has just completely given up her last shred of dignity, but is still laughing at her own crudeness nevertheless!) It only gets worse, at least for several weeks, before it gets better. Hubbies are better than tongs or spoons. --Steve --

Guest guest
Hi , My hubby had to help me with this personal hygiene until I got home. I kept apologizing to him because of that unique fragrence, buhe was a trooper. Once I got home to my own commode I was able to reach and do for myself. That was about 10 days post-op. If your bathroom is like mine was, those commodes are right against the wall and there is no room to move. Sheri
Guest guest
, You can always send him out for kitchen tongs and cottonelle wipes! *grins* I was able to reach without tongs after about a wipe, but it was still a little sore to stretch so I used the tongs for about 10 days after surgery. I still use the cottonelle wipes as my bathroom and I have a very close relationship at this point! Anita Surgery 11/08/01 > Hi, again! > > Thank God I have hubby's laptop at the Guest Residence.
