Guest guest
My doctor keeps the post-tenotomy casts on for 4 weeks instead of the normal 3 weeks. Has anyone had their doctor keep these casts on for this long? I don't think one additional week will do any harm. They've followed the technique without any other modification. We're considering requesting a cast change at two weeks just to accomodate her rapid growth as well as to break up the extended time frame. Any thoughts/suggestions? Guest guest
Hayden had his casts on for four weeks as our doctor was away when the three weeks was up. He did just fine, but Dr. Pirani told us if he had any problems to go to the cast clinic and have them changed. jennylare2004 wrote: My doctor keeps the post-tenotomy casts on for 4 weeks instead of the normal 3 weeks.
