Guest guest
Hi Deb- I did not have my gall bladder removed. Dr. Herron said if it isn't broken don't fix it. I took actigal for 6 months and had no problem with my gall bladder. Hope this helps. Ellen(Pam
Guest guest
Deb, Ellen and I have such similar experiences. She calls her hernia " Beaumont " (kind of classy, yes?), and I call mine " Herbie, " (plain, but cute). I did not have my gall bladder removed either, for the same reasons, though Dr. Elariny was my surgeon. I also took Actigall for six months, and so far, after seven months, I am also asymptomatic for gall stones. I am not advocating one way or the other, and, if I had had a choice, I probably would have opted to have it removed.
