Dteve- Maybe we can get hernia surgery-two for the price of 1 and a tummy

tuck together. What do you think? Maybe we can get many to do it and really

get a good deal. We can have our own plastic surgery ward? Hey anyone game?

Ann,

I am seven months out form my DS, lap. I have had many niggling

complications, none of which I consider a biggie, but most sere

discomforts at the time. Lots of gas--stinky, smelly. Flagyl cured

that at about five months out. Diarrhea every now and then. In the

early months, lots of oil discharges, to the point that I wore

maxipads for about 5 months (only really needed them for 3.5 months,

but wanted to be sure). Backaches (many of us get them even after

losing weight, because the remaining weight distribution places

different stresses on the spinal muscles). And, an incisional hernia

on my belly. The latter will have to be fixed, but I am waiting to

lose another 30 pounds first, so that I can have a tummy tuck at the

same time. But, except for the hernia, all those were minor

inconveniences, and now I really feel quite normal and have none of

those symptoms other than backaches every now and then, and, of

course, the hernia. Oh, yes, I think that I still have a lactose

intolerance, but I have not checked, because I got used to drinking

lactaid milk.

But, If I did not have the surgery, I would still be huffing and

puffing, retreating from living a full life, and courting cardiac

disease and an early death. Would I do it all over again? you

betcha I would.

Best,

Steve
