Does anyone know if Dr. Ponseti sees his patients personally or if he

oversees his staff. I ask because I know he is 92...not that it is a

bad thing....just curious. He is amazing on the phone and hard to

believe someone that has been practicing that long still has so much

passion.

He saw personally when we traveled from Texas to Iowa. Dr. Morcuende

consulted with him, as well. Dr. Ponseti casted personally. I believe

that he does not perform any type of surgery but he will see your baby himself

(and might bring in one of the docs he works with to consult, so you get " two

for the price of one " LOL). It was such an amazing experience to watch him

mold her cast. He took a lot of time and great care on it, as if it were a

master sculpture. Back home, I had our local ortho cut off the casts and I kept

them. They do feel like a master sculpture to me because they helped to correct

my daughter's club feet. You will never regret going to Iowa to see him.
