Way to go, ....I know exactly how you feel.

Amazing....she's talking about being able to do things that most people take

for granted, and I'm sitting here crying and knowing exactly why they are so

important.

199! CHA CHA CHA!!!

Hi all,

I had to post this! As of Saturday, I hit 199!!! I almost couldn't

believe it!!! I haven't been 199 since I was 19! I am 33!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

I had to share with all of my fellow DS'ers! So, as of April 24,

2001, I have lost 83 pounds...and I have been able to:

Run 2 miles!

Exercise 5 days per week and actually like it!

Fit into ANY seat!

Sit on a Merry Go Round with ease!

Have my " butt bones " actually hurt from not enough cushion!

Fit into a pair of levi's and NOT care what the waist label says!

Go to a Major League Baseball game and sit through it without any pain

in my hips from the seat digging into me!

Sit in an airplane seat with ease, and place the tray table down

comfortably, thank you very much!.

Walk the Vegas Strip mid-day, in the blazing sun without feeling

tired!

Shop in a " normal sized " clothing section!

Buy a size 10 peacoat for the winter and have it fit me perfectly! (I

burst into tears in Costco...the only thing usually size 10 on my body

is my feet!)

Speaking of feet, I can now wear size 9!

My resting heart rate is 54!

My blood pressure is normal!

My cholesterol is normal!

I FEEL NORMAL!!!!! Yiiipppppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

I just needed to share...I am so overwhelmed with happiness and true

pride in my decision to take my health seriously and seek help.

I look forward to what lies ahead and I know that with this renewed

lease on life that I can truly conquer whatever I chose to set as a

goal! I have the power within me...and for me to get to really know

that about myself, I had to shed some layers...and we're not just

talking fat layers...

Setting this goal of becoming physically present and responsible for

my life, and health has been a catalyst for an increasingly

interesting new set of life goals...and for the first time ever, I

feel like I can acheive!

Thanks for taking the time to read!

Blessings,

I'm so happy for you! Congratulations. (I hope that someday in the not too

distant future I can share those kinds of accomplishments too.)
