Guest guest
To All, Hi, this is Reah again.I work night shift at a hospital is why my messages are so late. My question is how do I talk to Dr. H about my daughter? Can I leave her a message like this? Will she leave one back? Would she talk to my endo in Ga. or would I have to come see her? We have Peachcare here and it pays for everything related but it would not pay out of state,I don't believe.Since I started this group only days ago I have got very afraid. The doctors, her ped.and endo have constantly reassured me I'm always doing more than enough and not to worry, but no one has ever mentioned this weight/height% thing which scares me that I am doing something wrong by having her on the gh so early(chloe's 27 months). If someone knows how to figure it out Chloe is 17lbs and 29 inches tall she started gh in june and her endo said in 9 months he would be able to tell if she was growing better with it or not. This would be when he would decide to take her off or leave her on. She takes neutropin, alternating .4 and .5 every other day. Do you think this is too early to take her off? Do I need to take her off to try this calorie check up thing you talk of? Chloe has had no problems. She was 2lbs 13 oz at 35 weeks(em.c-sec)She did not need o2 or anything. She only stayed in nicu for 5 weeks,to her due date because it took her that long to get to 4lbs so I could take her home. She was on iron, zantac, human milk fortifier to add to the breast milk(more calories)sayflower oil also in her bottle with rice cereal in her bottle from birth. She never had a problem with spitting up(vomiting),so we weaned her off of these med's.She is only on the periactin now with the gh. How would I know if she had reflux? Her only problem has been her lack of interest in eating, which naturally doesn't help her gain any weight. I'm so scared about having to put a g tube in my little girl to achieve calorie catch up.I don't even feel like I can have full confidence in our endo ,which I don't believe even has a rss growth chart because the one he has she isn't even on yet. Help, I'm freaking out. I thank god every moment that I was able to find this group. He must have known I was just about at my limit. Bless you, Reah and Chloe:) --------------------------------- Yahoo! FareChase - Search multiple travel sites in one click.
Guest guest
Reah, Hi! Our children have very similar birth scenarios. Crosby was born at 36 weeks emer. c-section, and was also 2 lbs. 13 oz. My emer was because of Oligohydramnios but they had been monitoring us closely because they knew about The growth restriction. Where do you live in GA? I live in Bluffton, SC which is just about 20 min. north of Savannah. > > To All, > Hi, this is Reah again.I work night shift at a hospital is why my messages are so late. Guest guest
, Hi! I live i Athens,Ga.My emer. c-section was because she stopped growing. How old is Crosby now?Chloe seems to be one of the smaller rss children even thought she hasn't had any other complications with sickness. She doesn't eat much but everyone told me that was because she was so small and her stomach could only hold so much and naturally not to worry.Thank you for getting back with me Lets chat soon. God Bless, Reah and Chloe:)28.5lbs,30inch,27.5 months-rss crosbysmommy wrote: Reah, Hi! Our children have very similar birth scenarios.
