Guest guest
Leah I just uncrossed all my body parts for Jodi and Max, but I will recross them all again for you guys! Is Trent going too? You know I will be dying for an update from you. Will you get home Tuesday night (did you say you go to Edmonton? or was it Calgary? I'm thinking you said Edmonton) or Wed.? When you get a chance, please let me know. Then we can start with phase TWO for getting Olivia GHT!! Best of luck! Guest guest
Leah, I'm using my share of fairy dust for you! I hope it works better for Olivia than it has for Max. Then again, you are dealing with the endo fairy. I'm dealing with the GI fairy and she/he doesn't seem to be listening. Good luck. I hope that you are able to get that gh soon! Guest guest
Well I hope you had Good news. Lots of luck Cross your fingers! Cross your fingers and your toes and anything else you can get to cross please! We're heading out this afternoon for Olivia's 3 day Pamidronate IV treatment in the hospital and then is the big Endo appt. on Tuesday. I truly hope I can convince the Endo to Rx the GHT without a lot of fuss. The rules are a little different here in Canada that GH is only Rx'd for growth hormone defincy (sp) and s Syndrome. I've got a few studies ready to show her and MY height and weight chart from when I was a child. I need to get the Endo to wrap her head around the fact that 4'10 " is Olivia's TARGET height. Without GHT she will be lucky to reach 4'. They seem to be stuck on the word " tracking " . Yes Olivia's tracking to around 4'8 " but with early bone fusion she doesn't even have a hope for that. And lets not forget about all the other benefits! Especially bone mass since she has OI also. Anyway, didn't mean to start rambling here. Keep us in your thought for Tuesday and send out fairy dust to the Endo to pursuade her!!!
