Hi all :)

We just found out we are pregnant with baby #3. I'm not due until December so

this is way far ahead, but I figured since I'm thinking of it...and not feeling

pukey lol...I'd ask about baby carriers. I remember someone posting something

about a new type of baby wrap/carrier that is a front pack and wraps something

like over your shoulders and then back around to tie in the front? Does that

ring a bell for anyone? I thought I'd saved the email because I thought it was

such a neat idea but I can't find it.

Anyone have any thoughts on baby carriers? Did you use em a lot? I never

really used any with either of our other kids, but this time around Jake &

are older and are involved in more activities, so I'm thinking it may be easier

to use a baby carrier than to bring the stroller everywhere.

Thanks in advance,

Kassia :)

Finally something I can help with (maybe)! First, congratulations

on your upcoming arrival!

I am not familiar with the sling you described, but you might check

www.thebabywearer.com for it. I think I would have loved my Maya

Wrap if I had gotten it when was a newborn. He didn't take

to it but I didn't get it until he was about 10 weeks old. I do

love my snugli and always seems happy in it. Here's the

link to the one I have:

I've heard great things about Hotslings too (www.hotslings.com).

Look at this carrier: http://www.ergobabycarrier.com/

It's pricey, but maybe you could find one onE-bay or ask for it for Mother's Day

or something. I got one and have used it, not a lot, but am pleased with it.

I'm an old sling lover, but the Ergo is better for a larger baby. It definitely

makes carrying your baby " hands free " .

Congratulations on baby number three!

We have a sling called the wilkinet sling which sounds very like the sling you

describe. We found it great to use and it's a sling you can continue to use

until they are quite big. Details of it can be found at www.wilkinet.com
