Guest guest
Hi, , I can't help you with any recommendations for surgeons in the Twin Cities area, but hopefully some of the other folks here can. I would recommend that you check out the Yahoo group, The Feet Club- it's at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thefeetclub It's comprised of mainly adults with clubfoot and they will definitely be able to tell you their experiences with different surgical approaches, which might be very useful to you as you're discussing options with surgeons. They also talk about pain management strategies. I'm sorry that you're suffering right now- I hope that you can find a really good doctor who can get you back on track very soon. Thanks for joining us here and offering to share your experiences! Regards, & (3-16-00, left cf)
Guest guest
Were you able to get any suggestions from the doctors at Shriners? If they didn't help you, perhaps you could try contacting Gillette in St. . I know they deal with children too, but perhaps they would have some ideas of who you could contact. I'd also look into the U of M. We've used several of their physicians for other things and have had good experiences. Although I'd definitely suggest getting second and third opinions no matter who you talk to! I can't really offer any other suggestions. I believe there is an adult clubfoot site too. I can't remember what it is, but I'm sure someone else will chime in with it. Good luck! Aleksander, 11/24/04 bcf > > I am a 20 yr old who has a severe case of bilateral talipes > equinovarus.
