Hi All,

Well I've started the process so of course I'm feeling better and antsy at

same time. I'm happy with my decision to try to have the revision to the DS.

Left two messages for Kim at Dr. Maguires office..ok I know shes probaly

busy but its my last day of vacation so would love to talk to her while I

have some time to talk to her.

I looked at myself today and felt depressed once again seeing the buldging

thighs etc everwhere...then I went and ate dammit I hate to admit it but that

exactly where I went. Yes I did walk this morning but with my gained weight

my bad knees and back have come back and thats hard. Seems amazing to me I

was once 230, walking 2-3 miles 3 times a week and working out 2 others...

But am trying to just think dont gain more...stop obsessing bout losing..buy

the damn next size clothes and be comfy...yesterday I finally bagged up all

my x's -1x's pants and size large shirts Im not getting in them for awhile.

I still put this out as I've received only ONE reply. Are there any 3plus

year post ops of the RNY surgery who started at 400 and up and who are not

gaining and / looking into a revision?

Im praying all goes well and that Dr. M will see me or review my records soon

so I can see if I am a candidate for the DS ..then comes the insurance

part...am lucky have a great job with lots of leave and disability leave time

and family in Cininatti.

Well.... I must say I'm hopeful and I haven't been that in awhile

: I'm sorry you haven't gotten many responses to your original post... I

don't personally know of any RNY revisions (although I've read about some VGB

revisions on this list)... Not that there aren't any out there, I just am not

sure how many are on this list in particular.

Have you checked out the list for revisions? I'm sorry, I don't have the

specific address (perhaps can help me out here), but you may be able

to find more like-minded people who will be more informed about your

particular situation. Stay here, of course but also check them out...

I hope this info helps! Keep up the hope --- It is what still keeps me going

at times (I'm experiencing some real personal problems with Dh and going

througha really rough time with that even though my post-op recovery and

health has been GREAT!). You are ever closer to getting the surgery and

moving forward to a 'new life'! I can't believe the transformation I have

undergone in 10 months... and it's still continuing! I thought I'd never get

here, but here I am nonetheless! LOL

all the best,
