We are driving to Florida from NJ (ok, yes we are crazy, but I'm afraid they

won't let us on the plane with carry ons/food or we'll be stuck in an airport

with not enough food) and are looking for any tips for traveling with diet or

even toddlers in general. We are planning on having Applegate farms mail us

hotdogs/bacon/coldcuts to our hotel and will have access to a microwave and

refrigerator in each hotel. We will be staying in the St. Augustine/St.

Augustine Beach area and the Sand Key/Clearwater Beach area. We will be

driving daily from Clearwater Beach on US 19/A19 to Palm Harbor during second

week. We call it the tour of Grandmas and it will all be worth it

considering my grandmothers are 85 and 93. I'll also have access to their

stoves but don't want to get too crazy but I will be able to make simple

things-baked potatoes, maybe pancakes. So--any health food stores in those

areas that are recommended or specific products in Publix (is their store

baked chicken gfcf?) Are there any Florida chains with gfcf foods for food on

the run? Does any one have any foods they reserve just for travel because

they're not overall healthy but are on diet (spam is one such example that

comes to mind!) I'll also check out Delands Bakery to see where they ship

for ideas. I'm looking forward already to picnics on the gulf side with a

sunset! Thanks in advance for any suggestions! Helene
