Guest guest
A few weeks ago Lindsey passed out in Target,we never made it past the cart section. She became dizzy, said she's needed to sit down and next thing she fell straight back on her head, thankfully that part of the floor was carpet. it was only a matter of seconds when she came to. I got her to the restaurant part and gave her an iccee. She's drank some.but was sweating, still dizzy and her head hurt. She has another story what happened, she doesn't remember anything. I took her to the ER and and we waited 3 hours to be seen. Cat scan was neg and they said her blood work was fine, but the ped a few days later said it showed she had a viral infection. she's did a finger stick to compare and her numbers were even lower, she also had a slight fever, just like she did at the hospital, but acting completely normal and not sick what so ever which is strange too(100.3)she runs 96,so for her this seems signifant. The pediatrician did her blood pressure standing up,sitting up and laying down and it showed her body is definitely not getting enough to drink. For many months now lindsey is ALWAYS thirsty and drinking. so now it makes since whys she always thrirsty! but why isn't her body hydrating herself? We are in Florida and it is hot,but Lindsey doesn't play outside. there are no girls for her to play with around here so she's just stays indoors. At target we walked from the car to Target, when she collapsed,so I don't think being over heated is a factor. I never mentioned Lindsey was dx with RSS to the ER PA,and honestly I didn't remember! We have one geneticist say yes,for sure and 2 others said maybe, but they want to test for other things which we haven tgot the orders for. But a light bulb went off this morning that maybe this could be a RSS thing? Lindsey is 9 years old, 47 pounds and about 49 inches tall. I'm attaching a picture i took the other day. jennie The message is ready to be sent with the following file or link attachments: award Note: To protect against computer viruses, e-mail programs may prevent sending or receiving certain types of file attachments.
