update on kyla

hey stephanie!!

the periactin can actually be what is giving her the migranes esp. if

you didnt slowly increase the dose. christopher has gotten them before

if we had skipped a dose or 2 so i now make sure he always gets his 2

doses no matter what!! how old is kayla again? christopher is 4yrs

and is now 29lbs and 38 " .

okay, i know we have had enough talk on here about boils, we had a

discussion at the convention over it, so sorry!!! kyla woke up

yesterday with what i thought was a boil, she went to school anyway

(she started pre-k monday and she loves it) today she woke up and it

was hard as a rock and red and swollen, i took her to school and

showed the nurse who said it was a boil and she can stay since it

isn't draining. i put a bandaid on it and sent her to class i picked

her up for an 11 appointment for it anyway because they are forming

on her rear too.........as soon as i pulled the bandaid off it popped

it and the doctor said it was definately staff infection, took a

culture of the puss to determine the degree of it, even though she

said it was pretty serious........my poor baby could barely walk over

it. it looks a lot better now. she was put on 4 more prescriptions, 2

antibiotics,one topical for the staff and another for the rear. she

is also on periactin, miralax (5 teaspoons and sometimes it still

don't help) prevacid (30mg) pediatex for her congestion, and she is

about to start back on reglan..............any more meds please? we

could use more!!! at least she don't fight us anymore to take it...on

top of all this my hubby lost his job 2 weeks ago and is having

trouble getting another (he is an electrician) my son has started

potty training has good days and very bad days, there is no in

between, i have had a few job offers but one was for night shift

(NOT!!) and the other was from 3-9 p.m. which means no time for kyla

and i won't do that either. so we are very broke right now, oh did i

mention the water pump went out on my car)okay, enough about us,

Christmas - but, I'm SO SO SORRY Kyla has been sick for so long!!

How are her blood sugars and keytones with all this? We will

continue to pray for all of you. My thoughts are with you as well.
