Funding for Special Ed. Classroom

Hi, everyone !!

I am working with my School Board Rep. to develop a Kindergarten/1st Grade

classroom appropriate for several kids in our area. ( One being my son who

is now 4, and in an excellent pre-k class)

Her intentions are to create a class that is " age-appropriate " for younger

kids with an immersion into speech/language, adaptive behaviors, necessary

therapy services, and necessary academic skills.

The school board rep. is searching for Grant monies to fund this program and

I am (in my own small way) attempting to help her find them. This is

completely new territory for me and I was wondering if anyone more

experienced would have suggestions as to where I could begin looking for the

necessary funding.It could possibly

help my son as well as several other children in the Central Florida area.
