Guest guest
Kinda, I noticed you got new PM's and Ian is having the same issues that Darbi has had at this age (and older) in the shoes. is working on this with us, and I want to talk to you about helping him too since those red spots at the heel (and the one at the toe - which is a different issue than the heel counter one... but I have ideas about that one too) are something she's dealt with forever since starting the PM's. has sent me some new impression/casting materials to try out which may help him to be able to re-design the heel counter for older children. The bottom line is, the counter is pressing into the calcaneous bone instead of the tendon which is flexible and needs to be moved up. Deciding which sizes and feet will need the modification is something he needs to know and I think your input would be very valuable to him. They changed the rivet materials I think, and I think this is the problem with the toe spots as well as for some kids, in other spots with the new shoes coming out lately. I want to pound on ours to make them flatter but I am not sure how they're pressed together in the first place so before I start pounding on them I want to talk to . So, please email me when you get a chance. I can't find the email you sent about Ian's shoes and the spots right now... thus this mass mailing :~} Kori
