Guest guest
Wow-It sounds as though you both are getting a handle on this. So sorry you both have to go through this. I heard before about the Mom having the same infection and passing it back and forth (she was # 1 care giver) But I agree Have everyone take the antibiotics. That is great news about the teen Hospital Board for Max. The knowledge this kids hold about hospital comfort and common thinking is an untapped resource. I will never forget with had his feeding tube placed he was roomed with a child that ordered nice big smelly cheeseburgers every 4 hours/couldn't have a thing to eat. not thinking. Oh course I couldn't get him moved either. I am thinking of you both. Dale Mom to (RSS etc...)15 just got his driving permit & to Mike who just turned 21. Guest guest
Thanks, Dale. I'm doing everything I can possibly do to get help for my son, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm frustrated today. He's still hiccupping, he throws up twice a day at least, and he's losing weight. No one returns my phonecalls, even though the nurse from the day hospital called me and TOLD me to call GI again. She heard Max on the phone and insisted that I call and speak to someone. They said it would be 15 minutes and it's been 45 already. How does feel about driving? Max has his permit, too, but has no interest in getting behind the wheel anymore. I told him he'll have to live in the city because he'll have no other way of getting anywhere if he doesn't drive. I'm actually just as happy that he isn't really driving. I'm not sure he is ready.
