Guest guest
Eve, Believe me, more than one person has noticed. They just don't know what to say to you or, since you haven't said anything, consider the topic off-limits. When I had lost around 65lbs on my last diet, people at work (who did not know about the diet) knew I had lost weight, but only very few said anything to me about it...mostly in the form of compliments on hair, clothes or attitude. I was surprised too, since I would have expected a lot more of a reaction. By the time I'd lost 95lbs, I actually got a comment about " don't lose too much weight! " HAHA! Anyway, I come to find out two years later (and all those pounds gained back) that one of the rumors going around was that I was " very sick. " WTF??? Whatever. HAHA. Chin-up...people do notice...they can't NOT notice, but if you're not open about it, people may not feel right in approaching you about it. Go out and buy some new clothes that fit and enjoy your shrinking body! At 8:48 PM -0800 12/3/01, evebaby26@... wrote: >... the butterball I once was. They say I don't even look like the same woman -- My neighbors, landlord and various people at neighborhood shops that we visit routinely. Now, everyone has been asking me how much weight I have actually lost. They can't believe it's over 100! I think that buying some clothes that fit better is a GREAT idea... just a few items and I think you will notice more that you've lost inches as well as pounds. I didn't do that until my old stuff was literally falling off me then I almost collapsed when I found out I was in a size 18! And, for the first time since my surgery I REALLY feel different and can notice the changes in my body! All the best, lap ds with gallbladder removal January 25, 2001 Dr. Gagner/Mt.
