Convention News: From Katy

Hi All,

Wow! I think this was one of the best Conventions ever. I think

having the variety of physicians with varying opinions speak to us was

powerful. and I will be summarizing our thoughts in the next

newsletter. In the meantime, some tidbits:

1. I have all the " official " photos that MAGIC's paparazza, Joan H.,

took over the weekend..As soon as I get permission from MAGIC office

I'll post into an album. Included are some AWESOME group shots.

2. To help with our newsletter, if any of you took good notes (Joe

B., I know you have done this in the past! :-)), please send me your

observations/summaries to my hotmail account, rss2katy@....

3. To those of you on the listserve who aren't members of MAGIC:

Please consider joining!!! A lot of the information that families

share here comes directly from learnings from newsletters,

Dr.H.visits, convention talks, etc....

4. Missed the Convention??? MAGIC Members can call the office and

order a Convention RSS Handout packet. There are only a few left,

though!

5. Finally, one recommendation: If you, like we intrepid Frissoras,

ever want to end your Convention weekend with a Sunday, 100 degree

trip to the White Sox/Red Sox game, don't do what we did....sit in the

unshady Left Field seats! Arghhh. We sat in full sun only to watch

our beloved (Red) Sox lose.
