I tell everyone that I leave my son with that he is extremely allergic to

many foods and will get very ill if he eats anything he shouldnt. he is only

to eat foods that I send. At school they put up a sign on the refrigerator

that says just that.

What has worked for me so far-my child is just 3 yo.- is to tell her

not to eat anything at all unless I say it is ok. She is too

litte/aggressive to go to friends wo me and just getting ready to

start preschool, so things may change.

How do the rest of you handle well meaning people? Poeple know my son is

gfcf-they may not understand exactly what that is but know he is " allergic " to

some foods. Now when they are unsure of somthing and I am not there-they ask

him-can you have crackers? He says yes. He is three and his language is coming

along well-but he does not understand all crackers are not alike-he only knows

yes he eats crackers. See where I am going with this? This applies to alot of

foods not just crackers. so what should I do? f
