Hi, Tina,

The pictures of Che's feet look good! The thing about the fiberglass

is that there really aren't too many experienced doctors who can use

the fiberglass casts with the Ponseti technique successfully. I think

some docs use a plaster cast underneath with a fiberglass overlay for

strength if the baby is being rough on the plaster. Is this what your

doctor did? Or did she just use fiberglass?

I think the problem with fiberglass is that it doesn't have

the " moldability " like plaster does.

Did your doctor give you an estimate of how many more casts she thinks

he'll need?

Regardless, it looks like things are going well thus far for your

sweet boy! Keep us updated and keep sharing those pictures!

Thanks jennyandkelly

Yeah he was being rough with the plaster! lol He broke the last set

all to pieces. The Dr. put plaster up to his knees and than

fiberglass the rest of the way up. They are much lighter now, and

its been almost a week now that he has had those ones and they are

not broken haha. He if fine with them just gets a kick out of

kicking you lol. The Dr. says he improves a point everytime we go

change them. About three more weeks four at the most she said. So we

will see next time we go..

Thanks

Tina
