Guest guest
Well, just returned home from seeing Dr. Ponseti and some Dr.'s from Sweden this time. Well not much news. As I thought his right foot is getting tight again. He has never had a tenotomy. He only has about 5 dorsalf. Had 10 three months ago. This has been an ongoing problem with that foot for 20 months now. Dr. P. told me " all runners have tight heel cords " Had to laugh! He wants to see him again in 3 months and decide if something else needs to be done at that point. He did say he walks very well. When he had him pick up a toy from the ground he goes onto his tip toes on that right foot. So we will still be doing 16-18 hours in the brace. He's in bed and I just feel like crying. I don't know what They will do, Just a tenotomy? or something more. We have been doing this for so long. I know he wants him to walk more and see if that helps. He said if we do anything now it will put him down for 4 weeks and he feels that he needs this time to walk. Well I should be happy that he doesn't have any casts.. That has only ever happened at 2 appts. It's a never ending battle, Sorry I ussually do good with him, it just seems like whenever we get some where then we go backwards.
