Guest guest
My husband just painted my sons DOC band last night dark blue for the Chargers. He then applied mod podge. WE are waiting for the stickers to get here and apply them. When he painted it he also painted the velcro part and I don't think he should have? Does anyone know how to remove the paint from that? Or has anyone ever painted that part? Also, I've heard of people repainting the entire helmet. When you do that do you just peel it off or do you use something to get the paint off? One other thing. It appears that some paint got on the foam. Does anyone know how to make the edges look so clean and get the paint off of the foam? I think the paint seeped through the tape onto the foam...lovely. Thank you so much for the help. Son - Kai 9 months old. DOC band since 11/25/

Guest guest
Thanks . We got most of the paint off. I'm going to try and use more alcohol to get it off. It looks pretty good though regardless. > > Painting the velcro is fine, and rubbing alcohol will get the paint off the foam! > > Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry > > Painting Helmet Questions!!! > > My husband just painted my sons DOC band last night dark blue for the Chargers.
