Guest guest
Sorry for the empty post, it is still early here in Oregon. Anyway I have a couple of questions I would like to throw at this knowledgable group. (1) I have taken the groups comments to heart. I do not weigh unless I am at the doctors office. This is once a month for me because of my pain medication. For me it is a nice suprise and I don't get all upset if I don't see the weight loss everyday. Does anyone else do this? (2) LAtely I have had large amounts of stomach acid when I go to the restroom. Before surgery I was on prevacid. This causes my tummy to cramp alot and is very uncomfortable. Anyone experience this? (3) My last concern is that somedays I feel like I can eat all the time and other days I have trouble eating anything. Yesterday I had one of those hungry days. I had one egg with toast for breakfast. From 11-3 I ate a whole newyork steak. Lots of small bits over the 4 hours. For dinner I had 1/2 of a jumbo jack (I was having a bad pain day so my hubby treated), Later I had about 1/4 cup of cottage cheese with about 10 corn chips and a handful of mix nuts. That is a huge amount of food for me. Is this too much? Sorry for the long post. I don't post very often so I guess you get them all at once. I am now 5 1/2 months post-op. I have lost about 123 lbs. My starting weight was 430. My starting size was a 32 and now I am in a 24. It is hard to believe that by Christmas I might actually be in the 200's. It has been at least 15 years since I have seen that number. Well I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. I know I have ALOT to be thankful for this year!
