My daughter is VERY PICKY EATER and the This is the advice I got from our pediatric nurse when my son was 12 months old. I think he only ate about 2 things at the time. She said to put just a few (2 or 3) bites of food on his plate at a time. Wait until he eats it, then put some more. I think he went about a day without eating anything, until finally he decided to eat some different foods. He is now a fantastic eater, so I guess you could say this worked for us. One other thing, in hindsight, my son's favorite book at the time was Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss. We read it over and over and over and I really think this may have helped, too.
