Guest guest Posted December 4, 2001 Report Share Posted December 4, 2001 I know. It's a provocative and inflammatory subject line. But I'm starting to feel this way. I can't even get past 62 grams of protein in a day. ALL the liquid proteins make me hurl. Powders aren't as bad but I need to put peanut butter in them to cover the taste, and I soon get sick of eating all that peanut butter. Most protein bars suck. I found one decent-tasting bar called " Balance " with 15 grams of protein, but it's high in carbs--20 something. I snack on nuts and string cheese and jerky but how am I going to do this for the rest of my life? I never thought I'd be so upset about protein.
