Guest guest
Thank Goodness! Thank you, Kris, for posting an update. Will continue keeping Jeannie (and all our recent/upcoming postops/ops) in my prayers, & swinging the fat tomcat for smooth sailing. Hugs, Liane > Several of you have asked about Jeannie. She is no longer in renal failure -- that is awesome news. She will be on the ventilator for possibly a few weeks to get her lungs back working on their own. She has a long road ahead of her, but the prognosis looks much better. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers and for those joining the nightly 10:00 p.m. EST candelight vigil. > > Here's hoping another WLS sister is well on her way to recovery and better health. > > Take care - > Kris G > Cincinnati, Ohio > 5'7 " , 40 years old > 8/22/00 - 283 - BMI 44.3 - Size 22/24 > 11/22/01 - 134 - BMI 21.0 - Size 4/6 > Reached goal set by Dr. of 147 at 9 months/3 wks. > ciao to 149 lbs. & 150 inches in 15 months > Open BPD/DS 08/22/00 > Bowel obstruction/hernia repair surgery 4/21/01 > Dr. Maguire, Kettering OH > HumanaFreedom Plus Plan > iwillbefit@y... > http://www.newlifeteams.org > > >

I was privileged to meet Jeannie, (thanks to Gayle Hand), as I was checking out of Sacred Heart. She is a real trooper and I am glad to hear she is on the mend.
