Guest guest
I will answer the question I know and leave the otheres for someone else. 1.It would be my opinion that all soy should be eliminated-some with soy allergies Do tolerate soy lethicin-but usually not soy oil. I would not feed him fish he tested allergic to either-the more you are wxposed to an actual allergen the worse the symptomes can become up to ansd including anaphylatic reactions. Fish is also a big source of mercury-a good nutritious food yes but unfortunatly tainted with a neurotoxin-somthing you really would want to limit any way. 2. as for broccolli, corn and squash foods fed more often tend to have higher numbers because the exposure is fresh. Again if he tested above a 1 for corn I would try to eliminate it-not an easy task-corn syrup would be the sugar part not the protien-so maybe he could tolerate it but you may get better results by elimnating all corn. Corn meal would have corn protien as it is the whole grain just ground. 3. It may well be he is allergic to sweet potatoes but that the exposure was long enough ago that he did not react to it as strongly during the test-if he has not had any sweetpotatoes in a year and still tested allergic{even a one} you could bet it would have been higher if he had been eating the recently. 4. My heart goes out to you-we may have multiple allergies here too-I just have not had him officially tested yet-so I can still pretend we dont for now-I have been doing a elimination diet of sorts on my own and know he does react to more foods than gluten and casein. Many here are experienced with multiple food allergies but I have to reccomend another recource for you-the foodallergykitchen is another yahoo group and they are absolutly great with finding alternative foods and helping people sort things out-it might be another sorce of support in addition to this group. A rotation diet can be useful in preventing further allergies-there is a real possibility if you feed him the same things too often he will become sensitive-this is probably due to a leaky gut. Ackerman has a site called www.curingjeff.com that has a real good section on rotation diets. F
