Starting a little late

Hi everyone! My son is almost 9 1/2 months old and will be getting his DOC band

in a few weeks for brachy. When we went to our pediatrician for his 6 month

appt. he commented on his flatness but said it should start rounding out by

itself. So we waited. Now in retrospect I wish we would have gone to CT then,

but I can't go back in time. At his 9 month check up he said since it's not

starting to round on its own, now is the time to go. We had our appt. at CT

yesterday and we're just waiting on the ped sending in the prescription so we

can start. I just wanted to hear if anyone still got a good result starting a

bit later. She showed us some before and after photos of kids that started

around this age and there was a significant difference. I do feel we're doing

the right thing.

Leila,

Have you decided whether you are going to take Maysa back for another scan. I'm still on the fence about this.
