Deb is absolutely correct. But Deb, doesn't olive oil have a

taste? So if you try and mix it in something like mac and cheese or

things like that, wouldn't it cause a taste change? I had been told

that the reason they suggested canola oil was that it had no taste.

Ah you may be right Jen. I have no idea. I was just letting her know that in

the good oil/bad oil controversy the olive oil is good too. But you may be

right about that. Hmmm, good point.

You are absolutely right. That is one of the reasons why rape seed

oil (=Canola oil probably) is recommended. Olive oil might be tasty

on pasta though, if you like the taste!
