Amy,

Do you have a stomach virus or anything else relating

to possibly why? Were you already dehydrated that you

know of or anything? I know with dehydration it's

like a vicious cycle. Once you are dehydrated you

feel sick and will throw up but you try to rehydrate

and you can't because you throw it up?

Amy,

Check yourself for ketones. If you are not drinking, I assume you are

not eating well, either. You don't want that build up of ketones or

you won't be able to eat or drink for awhile. You'll need IV fluids

to rehydrate yourself and get rid of the ketones. Try just one sip of

gatorade at a time. Just one sip. Wait 5 minutes and try another.

If you try too much at once, your stomach won't tolerate it

Please let us know how you are feeling, okay?

Amy - you need to have fluids. Call your doc and keep us posted.

You may have a stomach virus. You might need to be on IV fluids so you

won't dehydrate. Dehydration can be life threatening, so I think this is

worthy of urgent care. My son used to have this when he threw up too much,

but it's also a big concern when nothing is going in. Please call your

doctor and ask him or her...

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your concern. I've been drinking for a while again. Now I

drink about a glas a day, which is normal for my doing. Eating

however, isn't a problem, I can eat normal (for my doing). I was

worried I would get dehydrated but so far I've only been a little

dizzy since I drunk again yesterday.

So I've been drinking a little since yesterday again, but if I drink

to much, my stomach doesn't tollerate it, like you said. That has been

always an issue, my parents are all over me when they think I didn't

drink enough. I can't drink for more than two glasses a day for years,

so it's pretty normal for me.

Thanks again

Amy

Hi jennifer,

I haven't had any problems of throwing up. I've never drunk much so

it doesn't really show much when I would get dehydrated. Right now I

do have a little pain in my stomach and when i drunk again

yesterday, I felt a little dizzy... But I think it'll work out.

Amy,

I'm not sure if you have a bug or not, but if you

don't you should know that one of the symptoms of

hypoglycemia (and one that I personally experience) is

nausea. If I go past a certain amount of time without

eating and begin spilling keytones, I have a hard time

keeping things down when I do eat. As other people

have already mentioned, this can have very serious

consequences and you should definitely see a doctor

ASAP. You need to stay hydrated. Another thing to

consider is that you might have reflux. I know that I

can be nauseous and have trouble keeping things down

when I'm having a particularly bad bout of reflux.

This can also have very serious implications, so if

you think this might be the case, you should also see

a doctor. I hope you're doing better, but please

update us and let us know. If there's anything else

you think I can do, please dont' hesitate to contact

me either via the list or privately!
