New Email Option for Enzyme board

Hi list-guys,

As you may know, the enzymes and autism board is a busy yet very

productive list. I realize there are a lot of emails generated, which

is VERY GOOD, yet this can be hard to manage. Because a lot of people

want to keep abreast of new developments with enzymes use, but either

don't want to or find it hard to keep up with the daily emails, we

are starting a new option.

It is called Special Announcements. If you go to Edit My Membership

at the web site (or a moderator can do this for you), the option

reads: " Only special announcements - Only send me important update

emails

from the group moderator. " This is the third choice after Daily

Emails, and Digest.

A Special Announcement will be sent out once a month or so and will

summarize the content of the posts for each month. This will filter

out the more lengthy or personal conversational portions and present

just the specific information and new findings of the board. This

will be more like a newsletter which I will try to make as concise as

possible...just the facts. It will have a specific title such

as " SPECIAL: November " and will appear in your person email. This

will be the only email you receive at your personal addy. However,

you will also be able to read posts on the web site if you like.

A Special Announcement would be sent no more often than once a month

and include:

1. specific technical content, ideas, and findings

2. list of current files in the FILES section (but not the entire

files, just the names of what is available)

3. web sites and announcements posted by others, such as seminars

This is an option to get the latest news from the enzyme board,

without having to go through go through many posts. Feel free to pass

this along.
