Guest guest
Hi, I'm not sure if I have posted here recently, but I'm now 6 weeks post op and doing great! I saw Dr. Herron yesterday at Mt. Sinai for an incision check and am down 71 lbs! He said he considers me a " success story " already and that I'm doing wonderfully. The only " complication " I have had to deal with is a slow healing incision. Having diabetes and being as large as I was pre-op caused the incision to open in several places once the staples were removed. It's been several weeks of visiting nurses packing the incision twice a day, and being housebound for the most part, but if this is the worst of it, then I'll stop complaining! It is so amazing to me to lose so much weight when I struggled to just get a few pounds off before surgery! What a miracle this procedure is! Hope everyone is doing great!
