Darcey's foot did the same thing. I emailed Dr. Ponseti who sent it on to the

s. They have developed a piece of " rubber " (the same material the

inside of the shoe is made of) that threads onto the strap to alleviate this

problem. (They said they have had several cases of it, so they made this

product.) It actually helped me to tighten the shoe on her foot better so I

ordered one for the other shoe also. Maybe you could contact them for the same

piece. Hope this helps!
