Visit to gastroenterologist (J. Lambert)

Today, saw Dr. Lambert in Ithaca. An upper endoscopy was scheduled for

10/31 to determine if reflux problems remain or if there are more potential food

allergies. Dr. also mentioned another test where a wire is put down the throat

for 24 hours to measure occurrences of reflux but hopefully, we won't have to go

that route as I don't envision tolerating that well. As it is, he gags

easily--and think he'd probably vomit the whole time the thing was in place (if

he'd leave it in place).

behaved very well all day although was having a bout with the runs

yesterday which seems to have culminated during lunch at 's where he both

lost his lunch and overflowed his diaper!! Needless to say, we won't go there

again--although the place is fully 'baptized', thanks to Jake!! Ha ha.

Fortunately he came home and napped and will feel better soon. Dr. mentioned

there was a tummy bug going around and, of course, Jake would get it if anyone

would!!

This is just an update in the merry life of GF/Autism/Hypotonic !! Ain't

life grand?!

As an aside, we've decided to remove Jo from counseling as counselor didn't show

last time and we seem to have better luck just 'clamping' down a bit more!!
