Guest guest
Amy - I'm glad to see some effort to raise awareness about craniosynostosis, and I probably will run in the race since it's " only " a 2 1/2 hour drive for me. But, why not include plagiocephaly in the flyers? As I'm sure you know, plagiocephaly is increasingly common, yet there is a gross lack of awareness about it in the medical community and among new parents. We could really use the publicity! Guest guest
I just saw this message but I wanted to comment that it is included in the fliers - it is also included in the press release and there is mention of it in Posada's new book. > > > > Amy Galm > > President > > Craniosynostosis and Positional Plagiocephaly Support Inc > > Also Known As CAPPS > > www.CAPPSKIDS.org > > 516-232-7015 > > Visit us on Facebook at Craniosynostosis-Plagiocephaly Page CAPPSKIDS > > > > > > For Immediate Release > > August 4, 2010 > > > > Contact: > > Mulholland > > Director of Communications > > CSEA Nassau Local 830 > > Office: 516-571-2919 ext. 13 > > rmulholland@ > > > > CSEA Announces Partnership with Posada Foundation and CAPPS for 5k Run/Walk > > > > MINEOLA: CSEA Nassau Local 830, Nassau County's largest public service union with 10,000 members, has announced that they will be holding their First Annual 5k Run/Walk on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Nassau Community College in Garden City. Guest guest
FYI for everyone - I sent an email to one of the other organizers after this post, and he did also say he planned to add more to the website and flyers about plagio and have the option of making a donation in honor of a cranio OR plagio kid. Apparently when I visited they weren't done putting everything up. Amy - Thanks for the reply. It sounds like a great event. If I can get the hubby and MIL on board, maybe I'll run into you there! > > > > > > Amy Galm > > > President > > > Craniosynostosis and Positional Plagiocephaly Support Inc > > > Also Known As CAPPS > > > www.CAPPSKIDS.org > > > 516-232-7015 > > > Visit us on Facebook at Craniosynostosis-Plagiocephaly Page CAPPSKIDS > > > > > > > > > For Immediate Release > > > August 4, 2010 > > > > > > Contact: > > > Mulholland > > > Director of Communications > > > CSEA Nassau Local 830 > > > Office: 516-571-2919 ext. 13 > > > rmulholland@ > > > > > > CSEA Announces Partnership with Posada Foundation and CAPPS for 5k Run/Walk > > > > > > MINEOLA: CSEA Nassau Local 830, Nassau County's largest public service union with 10,000 members, has announced that they will be holding their First Annual 5k Run/Walk on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Nassau Community College in Garden City.
